The tribe of Levi were appointed as servants of Aaron the priest by Moses. The Levites were assigned to set up the Most Holy Place or the Tent of the LORD'S presence and carry the Ark of the covenant. This is where Moses would go and speak to the LORD. The Levites were to set these things in place every time the Israelites set up camp during their exodus from Egypt. They were also carefully instructed on how to handle the Ark.
"When it is time to break camp, Aaron and his sons shall enter the Tent, take down the curtain in front of the Covenant Box, and cover the Box with it. They shall put a fine leather cover over it..." -Numbers 4:4-6
"They shall wrap it and all its equipment in a fine leather cover and place it on a carrying frame"-Numbers 4:10
Little is said about the Arks construction other than that it was made of gold (a very high conducting metal) & acacia wood (which acts as an insulator).
Later in the book of 2 Samuel as the Ark was being transported by a cart pulled by oxen something happened that can only be explained through electrocution.
"When they came to the threshing floor of Nakon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. 7 The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore, God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God." -2 Samuel 6:6-7
Uzzah was immediately struck dead when he touched the Ark as the leather cover slipped off when the cart stumbled. Leather as we know is worn by electricians to prevent electrical shock. The wood used as the railings to manually carry the ark is an insulator. Clearly the Ark was electrified which brings more questions as to how Moses was able to speak to the LORD through this "box".
The Baghdad Battery
Discovered in 1936 near Khujut Rabu outside Baghdad, this 2,300-year-old clay jars often referred to as the "Baghdad Battery". Inside, a copper cylinder and iron rod suggest the possibility of electrochemical reactions when filled with an acidity liquid. While some propose it functioned as an ancient battery-perhaps for electroplating -it's true purpose remains debated. Of the original twelve jars, several were once displayed in the National Museum of Iraq before being "lost" during the 2003 US invasion.

"Dendera Light"
This relief from the Hathor Temple at Dendera (c. 2500 CE) is sometimes interpreted as depicting a large light bulb. Mainstream Egyptology views it as a symbolic representation of creation myths, but alternative theories suggest advanced electrical knowledge. Some even link the imagery to biblical accounts of giants or the Nephilim. Whatever its meaning, it invites us to ask: could ancient civilizations have processed technologies now forgotten? Perhaps we live not in an age of discovery, but of re-discovery!
