Reflections
By now, the pattern is clear.
This deity was not peaceful but vindictive, jealous, and warlike—a being demanding tribute in gold and blood.
If our modern armies acted this way, would we call them righteous—or would we call it conquest?
How can an all-powerful Creator need to seize pre-occupied lands and the wealth within them?
Unless the “LORD of Hosts” was not the source of creation itself, but rather one who sought dominion over it.
Across centuries, religion was inverted: peace became war, humility became domination, and the sacred became a tool of empire.
Even high churchmen—like Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, in his Open Letter to Donald J. Trump—warn of infiltration by dark forces shaping doctrine and preparing the world for the Antichrist (1 John 2:18, 22; 4:3; 2 John 7).
So we must ask the unthinkable:
Whom have we truly been worshipping?
